DAYTONA - PORT ORANGE - NEW SMYRNA
ONLINE DIRECTORY GUIDE
Welcome to our year round family friendly resort and beach community.
Our directory supports local business in our area to help promote visitors and locals to their products and services. By you using local businesses, you are keeping our area thriving. Here is some more information on our area and beaches.

The city is historically known as having a beach where the hard packed sand allows motorized vehicles to drive on the beach in restricted areas. This hard packed sand made Daytona Beach a mecca for motorsports, with the old Daytona Beach Road Course having hosted races for over 50 years. This course was replaced in 1959 by the Daytona International Speedway. The city is also the headquarters for NASCAR and the Grand American Road Racing Association.

New Smyrna Beach enjoys a humid subtropical(Koppen, Cfa) climate characterized by hot, humid summers and mild, mostly dry winters. New Smyrna Beach, like many coastal locations on peninsular Florida, is also home to several tropical microclimates where Coconut Palm and Banana can grow to maturity and fruit. Although four seasons are thought to be present by some, this area is normally dominated by two distinct seasons: the rainy season, from April until November, and the shorter dry season, from November to March.

County Beaches

The beaches of the Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach areas offer breathtaking beauty and water related fun! At low tide, the beach is up to 500 feet wide. It's easy to see why our beaches are considered among the best in the world. Whether your day at the beach is to relax and read a book; cast a line into the surf; build sand castles with the children; or cruise along the shoreline with the top down, Volusia County beaches can accommodate your desired experience.
